In Asia, the University of Konstanz offers a wide range of exchange opportunities. Partnerships are maintained with universities in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Thailand and Israel. Depending on the subject and specialization, the corresponding partner university can be selected individually. In Singapore and Hong Kong, the course is entirely in English, at the other universities there is usually a sufficient number of courses available in English.

Taiwan Summer Institute Program: the DAAD awards short grants for graduates and doctoral students for two-month research internships at universities and research institutes

  • Language and practice in the PR China: 16-month language and practice program of the DAAD, which is aimed at graduates in the natural, legal, political and economic sciences.
  • China Scholarship Program of the Study Foundation: highly qualified students of all subjects are supported during a one-year language, study or research stay at Chinese universities.
  • The Robert Bosch Stiftung's lecturer program supports scholarship holders in Asia (China, Indonesia, South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam) who teach German as a foreign language and carry out educational projects at universities.
