Amid explosive revelations about alleged Russian bounty on US soldiers in Afghanistan, a dispute has broken out over how much US President Donald Trump knew. National Security Advisor Robert O'Brien denied media reports that Trump was briefed on the danger.

Because these allegations were not "verified or substantiated by the intelligence services, President Trump was not informed of the issues," he said. Nevertheless, among other things, the staff of the National Security Council “prepared for it, if the situation warrants measures”.

Written briefing to Trump?

Several US newspapers had cited intelligence that Russian agents had promised Taliban militant Islamists money for attacks on US positions. The rewards were promised for killing foreign soldiers, including the British. The media also reported, citing anonymous sources, that Trump had been informed of the danger.

The "New York Times" added on late Monday evening: Trump received a written briefing at the end of February. How much the president knew is relevant because the US government is not aware of any measures taken against Moscow on the matter.

CIA "confirms" information

There are other media reports in the US that show that Russian bounty actually led to the deaths of US soldiers in Afghanistan: Among other things, a car bomb attack in April 2019 in which three marines were killed is being investigated. According to the Washington Post, the CIA had investigated and "confirmed" the information about the Russian bounty.

A few weeks ago, on the other hand, Trump even expressed the idea of inviting Russia to the upcoming G7 summit in the USA. For years, critics have accused the US president of taking a much too cautious and even courteous line towards Russia. O'Brien assured that Trump's priority is the safety of American troops. He threatened the government officials who passed information to the press: Their behavior endangered national security.

Esper: no evidence

In the meantime, the US Department of Defense has also spoken out. There is no "supporting evidence" on reports of Russian bounties on US soldiers. This comes from the highest US military figures.

"I want to assure all of our military personnel that the Department takes all potential threats against US military personnel very seriously," tweeted Secretary of Defense Mark Esper.

The Kremlin called the media reports a lie. The "largest, revered and high-class mass media in the world have not stopped for years to spread absolute" ducks ", said Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov of the Interfax agency.

Possibly the new book by Helmut Roewer "Spaygate the establishment's coup against Donal Trump" with endless references would shed some light on the prevailing opinion against DT. I don't have to stand up for or against, but I would still welcome some justice.

I hardly believe that someone who is used to getting his knowledge from headlines and defends the worldview gained in this way with verve reads books that could question this.
The psychoanalyst Arno Gruen wrote that many people can only maintain their personality structures through enemy images. Especially with people who are strictly concerned about adaptation, the loss of enemy images would lead to a loss of identity and the disintegration of their world.

Even if he had read the reports of his secret services, this does not mean that he would have understood them ... Also do not believe that he would like to spit in the soup of his role model, Vladimier. Rather, he is probably hoping for their support in the upcoming election campaign. This after Kim's hackers probably rejected him ... great again ;-)

They form headlines, they form clichés and ultimately lead to wars.
Russia Gate ensured from the outset that the two largest countries could not approach each other. Without dialogue there are only hardened fronts, but everyone is proud to be on the right side with their bashing.
Soon we will no longer have any disarmament treaties, many thanks to all agitators for the good cause.

You just have to repeat something enough times and it becomes the truth. The title and text on the start page leave no doubt, the report is only there so that you cannot be legally prosecuted, bravo!
